Questions about NA meetings
Do I have to be using to go to an NA meeting
An open meeting is open to anyone, including family and people who are simply curious. A closed meeting is for people who want to stop using drugs and for anyone who thinks they may have a problem. Which is which is marked on every meeting on every town page.
What if my town has no meeting of its own
Many towns do not have one. The town page then lists what meets within a short drive instead, nearest first, so there is still somewhere to go tonight.
Is there a charge
No. NA meetings are free and nobody signs you up for anything. A basket goes round for the room's expenses and you are free to pass it on.
Can I go with someone, or for someone
Open meetings welcome family and friends. Going to one yourself is a common first step when the person you are worried about is not ready to go.
