Questions about NA in Springfield

Are there NA meetings in Springfield, MO?

35 meetings, listed above earliest first for each day.

Are there open meetings in Springfield?

23 open meetings, which family and friends may also attend.

Are there meetings outside working hours?

There is something as early as 12:00 PM and something as late as 10:05 PM.

Is there a meeting at the weekend in Springfield?

There are 11 weekend meetings on the list above.

Are any meetings near Springfield wheelchair accessible?

Wheelchair access is noted on 26 of the rows above.

Can a meeting give me proof of attendance for probation?

Often yes, though no group is obliged to and some do not. NA itself keeps no attendance records, so a signature is a member doing you a favor rather than an official document. If one group will not sign, another in the list above may.

Does medication assisted treatment stop me attending?

Being on a prescribed medication does not exclude anyone from a meeting. Other groups take a stricter view when members share, and you may hear that said out loud. Asking the chair quietly before the hour starts is the direct way to find out where a group stands.

What if a meeting is not enough?

A meeting is not medical care, and it is not meant to be. If stopping has made you physically unwell before, a doctor should be involved in the next attempt. A doctor or a clinic can assess whether you need more than meetings, and that assessment is separate from attending.
