Questions about NA in Revere

How many NA meetings can I get to from Revere?

26 meetings sit within 5 miles of Revere.

Are there meetings outside working hours?

Start times run from 8:30 AM through to 8:00 PM.

Where near Revere are the meetings held?

Most of them sit in Lynn with 9 and Malden with 5.

Is it worth looking beyond the list above?

There are 117 more between 5 and 25 miles.

Are any meetings near Revere wheelchair accessible?

5 meetings are listed as wheelchair accessible.

What is an NA meeting actually like?

Someone will probably say hello, and then a group of people sit down and talk for an hour. People arrive in work clothes, gym clothes and whatever they had on, and none of it is remarked on. A discussion meeting is usually easier to walk into than a speaker meeting.

Do I need treatment as well as meetings?

Meetings are free, ongoing and run by members. Treatment is clinical and time limited. A treatment program has staff, a schedule and a discharge date. A group has none of those and does not stop. What a program costs and what your insurance reaches are questions for the provider rather than for a meeting.

How do I choose between all these meetings?

Take the one that needs the least arranging to attend. A step meeting is usually not the easiest first visit, because it assumes some context. If none of the times work, an online meeting runs at hours an in person one does not.
