Questions about NA in Hammond

Are there NA meetings in Hammond, IN?

33 meetings sit within 10 miles of Hammond.

What is the earliest and latest meeting near Hammond?

Start times run from 9:00 AM through to 7:30 PM.

Are any of these meetings virtual?

2 online meetings are marked in the schedule above.

What if I am willing to travel further from Hammond?

109 more sit further out, within 25 miles.

Which day has the most meetings in Hammond?

Meetings run on 7 days of the week, and Wednesday is the busiest.

Is what I say at a meeting kept private?

No. There is no register, no sign in sheet and nothing to fill out. Anonymity is one of the fellowship's own traditions, and members treat what they hear in the room as staying there. Sitting at the back and saying nothing keeps you entirely out of it.

Can I get someone to a meeting if they have not asked for help?

There is no version of this where someone else decides for them. Reading up on it yourself is not going behind anyone's back, it is being able to answer a question when it finally gets asked. If stopping suddenly is part of the worry, that is a medical question for a doctor rather than a meeting.

Do I need treatment as well as meetings?

A meeting can do a great deal and it cannot supervise a withdrawal. The decision is not permanent in either direction. Going to a meeting this week does not rule anything else out.
