The difference is the subject rather than the method. Both are free, both are run by their own members and neither takes outside money. That applies across Vermont the same way.
Do I need treatment as well as meetings?
They answer different questions, and the honest answer is that it depends on your situation. The two are not in competition and the fellowship has no view on treatment either way. Nobody at the meetings listed here will ask you for money.
